– Controversy over the authenticity of the visitor list of the BTJ Universal Center in Sangju, Gyeongbuk, which stands at the center of the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), arose. Some of the names in the handwriting are traces of a person writing the personal information of several visitors by hand.

An official in Sangju said on the 14th, “It is doubtful that the list of dozens of visitors written with a ballpoint pen has many of the same handwriting and some of them are written incorrectly.” The list of visitors was submitted by the center to law enforcement agencies. It is reported that there are 2792 visitors to the center in November and December of last year.

The official added, “If you call the number on the list, there are many numbers that are missing and incorrect. The person who answers the phone also has this suspicion because they claim that they have never been to the center.”

However, some point out that it may be a normal list. Sangju City recently asked the center, “There are a lot of the same handwriting in the list of visitors you submitted. There are many wrong phone numbers. Why is that?” Then he explained, “Some of the lists are not written down by one person. So, there seems to be the same handwriting.”

An executive in Changzhou explained, “So it seems that the entire visitor list is not intended to come. Even if the handwriting is the same, some of them also have real visitor phone numbers.”

The controversy over the authenticity of the visitor list was raised by the police. Kim Deok-hwan, the second chief of investigation at the Gyeongbuk Police Agency, said, “We are looking into whether there is a problem in the process of preparing the visitor list issued by the Nation Center.”

As of the 13th, the number of confirmed cases related to the BTJ Heating Center was 662. Of the total 2797 visitors to the BTJ Heating Center confirmed by the quarantine authorities so far, 1873 (67%) have not yet been tested, so the number of confirmed cases is expected to increase.
