This has lent itself to a series of epic errors that occur from not turning off cameras and microphones. Something almost common in this ‘new normal’. In fact, it has happened to hundreds of people around the world.

Of course: the situation becomes much more serious when some people carry out private and disrespectful activities in the middle of their virtual meetings.

This is the case of a Peruvian lawyer, identified as Héctor Paredes Robles, who committed the impudence of having sexual relations in the middle of a public hearing that was broadcast live through the Zoom platform.

The events occurred in the Judicial Headquarters of Pichanaqui, district of the province of Chanchamayo, in Peru.

In the virtual hearing they were defining whether a mayor accused of having ties to a criminal group was going to receive preventive jail. The president, accused of “alleged commission of the crime against public tranquility, in the form of criminal organization”, was defended by Paredes.

The latter not only chose that precise moment to perform obscene acts in the office from where he was connected, but also left the camera on. Although he did not appear directly in front of her, the images managed to record his sexual activity with a woman from beginning to end.

The situation created outrage among the people who had to witness the shameful act. In the video, viralized on social networks, you can hear the complaints of those mentioned to the virtual audience.

For his part, the head judge of the hearing requested that the images be recorded to present the case before the Prosecutor’s Office and the Bar Association.

The Superior Court of Justice also ruled through a statement, expressing its rejection of the lawyer’s conduct and pointing out that he had committed “obscene acts that violate public modesty and good customs.”

The court also ordered the lawyer Paredes relieved of his role in defending the mayor due to his embarrassing act.

“The judge in charge of the hearing, excluded the lawyer Hector Paredes Robles from the defense and ordered a public defender to assume the corresponding defense, and ordered that the Public Ministry and the respective Bar Association be informed of what happened, so that they proceed according to their functions ”, they indicated.
