Controversy between Hamza Al-Dardour and Coach Amouta Sparks Outrage – Asian Cup Finals

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists circulated on social media platforms a video of a quarrel between Hamza Al-Dardour, the Jordanian national team player, and his coach, Hussein Amouta, during the “Al-Nashama” confrontation with the Iraqi national team, in the Asian Cup finals.

A dispute broke out between Al-Dardour and Amouta over the Jordanian national team’s substitute bench, and the players and members of the technical staff tried to calm them down, but the player pushed some of the technicians, then left the field and headed towards the locker room, and this video sparked widespread controversy.

The Jordanian Football Association revealed the exclusion of Hamza Al-Dardour from the ranks of the “Nashama” team, saying that this decision comes “after Al-Dardour violated the team’s internal controls and instructions.”

Al-Dardour did not participate in his country’s match with Iraq, which ended with the former winning by three goals to two, reaching the quarter-finals in the Yellow Continent Championship held on Qatari soil.

Previously, Hamza Al-Dardour (32 years old) appeared in 71 international matches with the Jordanian national team, during which he scored 26 goals and provided 8 assists.
