All supermarkets affected by recall: Spinach contaminated with splinters

A very similar product is available at Organic trader “dennree” affected. The organic supermarket sells several products under its own brand of the same name, including vegetarian patties. Here, too, according to the manufacturer, it cannot be ruled out that there are metal splinters in the products.

The package contains 160 grams of the vegetable patties in the “spinach” variety. Consumers can identify the batches affected by the best-before date (MHD). These are April 3rd, 2023 to June 26th, 2023.

But what danger does the supposed metal particles in the spinach actually pose? In principle, swallowing the sharp-edged particles can cause serious injuries to the mouth and throat. In the worst case, swallowing leads to internal injuries or bleeding.
