Consular Services Office for Dominicans Opens in Brooklyn – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK — This is a proud and rejoicing moment for more than 160,000 Dominicans in Brooklyn County that some of Quisqueya’s sons have waited for decades.

This Friday, a service office of the Dominican consulate was officially installed to serve this county.

“It is a pride to be able to know that as Brooklyn Borough President, a Dominican representative, to be able to tell Dominicans what services are available locally. [y] that they do not have to leave this county to search for information [y] resources,” said Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso.

The office is located in the East New York neighborhood at 2981 Fulton Street, where the Dominican consulate will be providing assistance in procedures such as affidavits, Dominican citizenship, passports, translations, and notarial acts.

Services will be available at the new location Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
