Potsdam – The head of the building department, Bernd Rubelt (independent), who has come under pressure, makes a commitment: He did not take part in “the alleged corona demo that is the cause of disciplinary proceedings against me,” he wrote on Monday in a “counterstatement” signed by him the PNN.
Rubelt had previously said about his alleged participation in the Corona demo: “I have not done anything that could justify the initiation of disciplinary and/or fine proceedings.”

According to PNN information, Rubelt is accused of walking in a demonstration against corona measures in Werder (Havel) in February. Furthermore, Rubelt is said to have failed to comply with a request from Schubert to explain himself. In city politics, this had already led to a first demand for an exemption from Rubelt until the allegations were clarified. The left-wing network “City for All” has now also called for his dismissal via Twitter – also because of Rubelts, from their point of view, to investor-friendly politics.
