The South American entity opened a disciplinary proceeding against the Rio de Janeiro club alleging that Rubro-Negro did not return five vests of the reserves in the game against Barcelona, from Guayaquil, Ecuador. The information is from journalist Renan Moura.
According to information from him, Flamengo has until next Thursday to present the defense and try to avoid a fine from Conmebol. On the field, the Rio de Janeiro club beat Barcelona 2-0 and advanced to the final of the competition.
Flamengo is looking for the third Libertadores title against Palmeiras. The final will be held on November 27, in Uruguay. Verdão, current champion, also wants to lift the trophy for the third time in its history.
