In the Hands of Kaesang, Exactly Collaborates with English Clubs

KOMPAS.COM – Kaesang Pangarep made a breakthrough after acquiring Exactly Solo.

The son of President Joko Widodo has collaborated with a British club, Oxford United.

Kaesang Pangarep as the main director of Persis Solo plans to launch the original Solo Raya children to play in Persis and in the Indonesian National Team.

“I really want to bring up the original Solo Raya children to be able to play in Persis Solo and in the National Team,” said Kaesang, Saturday (10/4/2021).

In addition, the cooperation is expected to bring Persis players a taste of the experience of playing at Oxford.

“We also have a good collaboration with Oxford. Maybe we can bring the kids from Persis to play at Oxford. Looking for experience,” said Kaesang.

Oxford United owner Anindya Novyan Bakrie believes Persis can encourage better national football.

“Who knows if there is a collaboration that can be done. Earlier, Solo Raya players must advance. The most important thing is that in the near future, hopefully they will go up in class,” explained Anindya.

“If I see from the patience of these younger siblings to encourage national football, I feel sure God willing, it can be better,” he said.

Previously reported, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) of PT Persis Solo on Saturday, March 20, 2021 resulted in a decision regarding the new owner of the club with the nickname Laskar Samber Nyawa.

There are three owners, the first son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Pangarep, acquired the largest share, namely 40 percent.

The other two are the Director of PT Plevi Makmur Abadi, Kevin Nugroho with 30 percent of the shares and finally the Minister of BUMN, Erick Thohir with 20 percent.

That way, Persis alone leaves 10 percent of the shares still owned by internal clubs.
