The issue related to the working conditions of farmers and the labor shortage is at the heart of the Agreen-job and Cow Forme projects (see box) which began in January 2020. The first step consisted of carrying out a cross-border survey on work and employment in agriculture. Its main objective was to assess the feelings of farmers engaged in different production systems (milk, meat, cultivation, market gardening, etc.) regarding their working conditions. But also to identify their needs. They are 274 to have answered the survey including 109 dairy producers.
