The social work ‘Concepción Coronada’, which was born within the brotherhood of Exaltación, has taken stock of these last four years of work in which it has been able to donate a total of 87,753.03 euros to different institutions. In the same way, the brotherhood of the neighborhood of Las Viñas sets itself the goal of maintaining, and if possible increasing, this data in the next four years in order to continue covering the needs that appear.
Likewise, the ‘Concepción Coronada’ Welfare Projects thanks all the collaborators, siblings or not, who in one way or another make this reality possible, since thanks to their work and effort solidarity and anonymous have been able to help to many families at this time.
This social work is one of the most important in the world of brotherhoods. In addition, within this work that was created on the occasion of the Canonical Coronation of María Santísima de la Concepción, it has carried out activities such as hair donation or its classic collections of fresh fish to meet the needs that Cáritas de Las Viñas may be aware of. The Archconfraternity of the Rosary of Foremen and Costaleros will make an extraordinary processional outing on October 22, which will culminate the commemorative acts of the one hundred and seventy-fifth anniversary of the making of the image of Madre de Dios del Rosario. This outing will have as a novelty the presence of the canopy of Our Lady of the Delivery of the brotherhood of the Donkey of El Puerto de Santa María. Some litters that will be donated by the Porto corporation for this special brotherly event.
Restoration to the Lord of Mercies
Several days ago, the intervention of Nuestro Padre Jesús de las Misericordias of the brotherhood of La Candelaria by the group of S&S Restauraciones. The patina of the image has been restored due to the meteorological circumstances suffered last Holy Monday.
