The Health Care Authority pointed out that the dialysis units are located in Al-Tadamon hospitals, Port Fouad and Al-Mabrah in Port Said, and that all preventive measures and equipment have been taken to protect them from the transmission of the emerging coronavirus virus to the dialysis patients, where the dialysis unit in each hospital has been completely separated from The rest of the hospital is in a separate building, and a dedicated itinerary is used to enter suspected cases of the virus in another separate building. The medical staff for dialysis patients has also been separated from the other medical staff working in the hospital to ensure the safety of the patients.
She added that the patient’s dialysis patient, who is going to the hospital, is subject to detecting temperature, inside medical tents that have been installed at the hospital entrance equipped with medical supplies to detect symptoms of the emerging corona virus, so whoever shows some symptoms of infection such as “high temperature, cough, shortness of breath” , He is entered to another designated area inside the hospital to perform the necessary rays and tests to check on him and make sure that he is not infected with the virus, and whoever does not have any symptoms are entered into the hospital’s dialysis unit to conduct a specific dialysis session, and all patients are given the treatment prescribed to them duringConducting sessions, with personal condoms and disinfectants distributed to them, in addition to that the dialysis units in Al-Tadamon Hospital, Port Fouad and Al-Mabrah of the Port Said Health Care Authority are periodically sterilized weekly.
