“Composer Sir Carl Jenkins Mistaken for Meghan Markle at Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla”

Excited Twitter users took particular notice of one of the 2,200 guests at Westminster Abbey, claiming the visitor looked like he was hiding his identity.

Someone speculated that it could be Meghan Markle.

But the man with the gray hair, mustache and glasses turns out to be none other than composer Sir Carl Jenkins, whose piece was played during the ceremony.

Despite the scandals of recent years, the coronation of Britain’s King Charles III and Queen Camilla was attended by the Duke of Sussex, the youngest son of the king, Prince Harry. True, soon after the conclusion of the solemn ceremony, Harry went to the airport to return to the United States, where his son Archie is celebrating his fourth birthday.

We remind you that on Saturday, May 6, the coronation of the first British monarch in 70 years took place in Westminster Abbey.

Charles, 74, became Britain’s king on September 8 last year, when his mother Queen Elizabeth II, who had reigned for 70 years, died.
