Airlines under the auspices of Lion Group (Lion Air, Wings Air and Batik Air) implement a series of new requirements that must be obeyed by passengers if they want to do air travel during the new normal period.
“The implementation of Lion Air Group flights continues to run according to the health protocol, with the hope that each operation meets the elements of safety, security (safety first) and in an effort not to cause the spread of COVID-19,” said Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air Group, Danang Mandala Prihantoro through the official statement quoted detikcom, Sunday (6/28/2020).
The following are the complete criteria and conditions that have to be prepared by Lion Air passengers:
1. Health Test for prospective Lion Air Group passengers traveling domestically (domestically):
a. If the medical test used is COVID-19 Rapid Test, with non-reactive results, the validity period is 14 days.
b. If the medical test used is COVID-19 Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), with a negative result, the validity period is 14 days.
c. If the two test methods above are not available in the area of origin, the prospective passenger must obtain a certificate of symptoms-free such as influenza (influenza-like illness) from the hospital doctor / Puskesmas.
2. Health tests for international flights must use the RT-PCR health test with negative results.
3. Arrive early at the departure terminal which is four hours before departure. Domestic Lion Air Group flights remain at Terminal 2E and internationally at Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang. For other airports operating in the same terminal.
4. Show a valid identity card (KTP or other ID).
