After proposing the PlayStation 5 photo report, let’s now move on to a direct comparison with Xbox Series X: we put the two consoles and controllers side by side … here are the pictures!
PlayStation 5 it is certainly an imposing console, the dimensions overwhelm the relatively more compact Xbox Series X and from every angle you can see the differences between the two devices in terms of height, width and depth, both horizontally and vertically.
The controllers are also compared, with the Xbox joypad appearing slightly smaller, however, these are two products with a rather different philosophy, where the Xbox controller wants to maintain continuity with the past, the DualSense wants to partly renew itself (starting from the name, saying goodbye at the end DualShock) while keeping them unchanged some design aspects that made the joypads of the PlayStation family iconic.
There will be time and way in any case for more in-depth comparisons on the aesthetic differences between the two consoles, this is just a first taste waiting to be able to tell you more.
