Agnese Rakovska lives on “Lonely Island” / LR2 / / Latvian Radio

On October 27, the leader of the group “Triana Park” visited the Music Bank in absentia Agnese Rakovska, who is making a new song with Igo – “Clay Gray” and is still relevant “Lonely Island”. The group “Triana Park” has released a mini album “Compositions”, as well as announced a series of concerts in December.

The five-song album “Compositions” was written in the first half of this year in the creative camps of the group “Trianas Parks”. The listeners got acquainted with the first single “Lonely Island” already in September. As a second single, the song “Mālos Pelēkos”, which was composed together with the singer IGO, is released to a wider audience. The album “Compositions” is a continuation of the path that the band started last year with the record “11”.

In terms of form, “Compositions” is more of a conceptual work that starts with a question and ends with an answer. The album was created in three months, so the themes and ideas are closely related. The recording is permeated by an idea that is probably not very popular in pop music – the study of loneliness. The changes that characterized this year separated us from the usual social groups, forcing us to regroup. Variations are different, loneliness is constant. The song “Krasti” seems to be the most dramatic song that reveals the lyrical image of the album – it is disappointed, hurt, he wants to regain faith and start all over again. Is that unlikely? ” The main motives of the album are outlined by Agnese Rakovska.

At the end of this year, from December 12 to 26, the group “Triānas Parks” invites to the concert series “Compositions”. Numerous small concerts will be held in churches throughout Latvia, observing safety regulations. The sacred environment, the muted music and the presence of fellow human beings are what the group members want to give to their listeners.

“It was a spontaneous idea to create a series of concerts in churches, but now it is needed more than ever, at least for me personally, it is a moment to dedicate to look up. We want people to think about the essentials in December and choose peace instead of short-term satisfaction. It is worth looking back on this year – it has been full of challenges! ”Says Agnese Rakovska.

The concert program will feature new, well-known, as well as classic Christmas songs. Concerts will take place in Cēsis, Skrīveri, Tukums, Ikšķile, Līgatne, Rīga, Liepāja and Bauska.
