Epidemiological report
In the world, 50,400,048 recovered people are registered, while a total of 90,995,185 accumulated positive cases for COVID-19 and 1,947,758 deaths are added for a fatality percentage of 2.1%.
For today, Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in Panama, there are 223,635 recovered patients, 3,740 new positive cases, for a cumulative total of 285,093.
To date, 17,137 tests have been applied, for a positivity percentage of 21.8% and 50 new deaths have been registered, totaling 4,561 accumulated and a lethality of 1.6%.
Active cases total 56,897. In home isolation, 54,333 people are reported, of which 53,617 are at home and 716 in hotels. There are 2,564 hospitalized and 2,341 of them are in the ward and 223 in the ICU.
