Colomiers. The funfair returns to Place des Fêtes

As every year, the Colomiers festival will soon be re-established at Place des Fêtes. From Saturday July 10 to Wednesday July 14, rides, game stands, ghost trains, lotteries, duck fishing, cotton candy and other more or less spicy sweets will tempt all audiences.

Thrill seekers or lovers of more “serene” distractions, with family, alone or with friends, everyone should therefore find something to have a good time.

An unmissable event in the summer, the funfair does not forget the balls either: a free concert every evening from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Organizer of these festivities in partnership with the city, the festival committee will therefore offer four concerts with the Houston orchestras, Saturday July 10, Maxime Lewis, Sunday July 11, Columbia, Monday July 12, and Elixir, Tuesday July 13. Their shows guarantee unbridled entertainment, on stage and, they hope, on the dance floor, until 2 a.m.

Like last year, health constraints will unfortunately not allow us to reconnect with the traditional and highly prized fireworks display, which usually launches the party on Place Alex-Raymond. For the same reasons, the evening meal on July 14 will not take place.

As the Le Grand Central cinema site requires moving some of the rides, the party will take place in the public space bringing together Place des Fêtes, allée du Lauragais and allée des Droits-de-l’Enfant. Gauges and public restrictions having been lifted, no direction of traffic will be defined, but wearing a mask will remain compulsory throughout the event area.

Only, “the refreshment bar will be a little different from previous years, specify the organizers, with barriers and direction of movement, so that no one can stay leaning on the bar. The cash desk will be separated from the bar, where payment will be made by tickets. . “
