The third place “Jobs at hand”, located in the heart of the Val d’Aran, organized the month of construction in October. Therefore, each week will have been punctuated by collective information on professions and career development, meetings with training organizations, site visits and company demonstrations in this rapidly changing neighborhood of the city.
All these events were organized with the help of the CFA BTP Occitanie, the Federation of Building and Public Works (FBTP31), construction companies such as Sati, Institut de welding, Bouygues construction, Weber Saint-Gobain, the Climater group, GB Energie, the Arcoser architecture studio without forgetting GEIQ BTP, Innovista and Adrar. Most of its entities are present in the western part of Toulouse. The aim of this project was to inform job seekers, retraining people and young people seeking training to encourage vocations for this constantly recruiting sector of activity. There were about thirty of them to show up at “L’emploi à votre porte” and to attend these events. And two young people have already confirmed their intention to join the CFA BTP, others have exchanged their contact details, and still others will contact their Pôle Emploi agency to carry out periods of immersion in the companies. A business appointment closes this month to highlight construction trades this Thursday. It will take place on the premises of the third place, 12 bis place du Val d’Aran, between 2pm and 5pm.
