Coldplay’s Surprise Guest Roger Federer Rocks Zurich Show

The fans of Coldplay who attended their show at the Letzigrund Arena in the city of Zurich (Switzerland) were pleasantly surprised when the British band decided to invite nothing more and nothing less than the Swiss Roger Federer before playing “Don’t Panic” -from their debut album Parachutes (2000)-.

The tennis star appeared before thousands and thousands of people when Chris Martin introduced him as “our original member” and even was encouraged to accompany the band during their performance with a shakers solo. Also, when Coldplay performed “Adventure of a Lifetime” from the album A Head Full of Dreams (2015), Federer was in charge of throwing the balloons that gave the presentation a magical touch.

After such a moment, The Swiss took to his Instagram account and uploaded a backstage photo where he is seen hugging the band and his wife Mirka. The image was accompanied by the message “Adventure of a Lifetime” in a clear nod to the British track. Of course, the public did not hesitate to record the event and share it on social networks.

Coldplay continues to tour the world as part of their sustainable tour “Music of the Spheres” that took them to Argentina in October and November of last year with a historic figure: 10 shows at the River Plate Stadium.
