In the west, center and north of the country, code yellow applies until mid-night due to thunderstorms accompanied by hail and wind gusts. The KNMI warns for bad weather in the provinces of South Holland, North Holland, Flevoland and Utrecht.
Code yellow also applies in the IJsselmeer area. From 02:00 the bad weather weakens slightly.
Traffic and outdoor activities may be affected by the thunderstorms. The KNMI therefore warns to be careful.
Tuesday morning the wind along the coast remains quite strong, but it is otherwise partly cloudy with sunny periods. Only a single shower can fall in the northeast.
