COD Warzone, the new nerfa patch DMR 14 and Mac-10: will it be enough?

L’integration with Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War not only brought a lot of new content to Call of Duty Warzone, but also some problems resulting from the forced coexistence of arsenals belonging to two different games, as well as developed by different teams.

Some weapons that arrived after integration were, quite simply, too powerful for Warzone’s free-to-play battlegrounds, especially the DMR 14. After numerous complaints, the Raven Software developers have finally decided to take action with a patch. As soon as it was loaded on the servers, the new battle royale update made the following interventions:

  • DMR 14: reduced head damage, increased recoil;
  • Type 63: reduced head damage, increased recoil;
  • Mac 10: decreased the multiplier for headshots;
  • Double guns: increased the range of bullets without aiming, decreased the range of damage.

Well, it seems that the players are not at all satisfied changes made by Raven Software. According to the first reports available on the net, the recoil of the DMR 14 – the most problematic weapon of the lot – is still extremely predictable, moreover the damage from falling has not received any downsizing. In essence, the semi-automatic tactical rifle still appears to be a machine of destruction. Has anyone among you already had the opportunity to test it in the field? The update, we would like to specify, is specific to Call of Duty Warzone and it didn’t affect Black Ops Cold War.
