Because of this, the release of the game was postponed, so it will no longer be released in 2021, as previously planned. The publishing house decided to suspend accepting pre-orders, as they cannot name a new release date.
This game is very important to us and it was an ambitious project from the very beginning. To achieve our goals, we concluded that changes are needed and, as a result, more development time is required.
We would like to take this opportunity to honor Hardsuit Labs for their efforts and to thank them for their hard work on the project. The studio has done a great job laying the foundations for the game, and we hope you will also appreciate their contributions to Bloodlines 2.

In its financial statement, Paradox notedthat has already begun cooperation with the new studio to complete work on the game.
