Embonor and Andina, licensed bottlers of Coca Cola At the local level, they announced this Monday an important agreement with AB InBev (ex Cervecería Chile, today with Belgian capitals): for five years they will distribute products of the latter such as Becker, Corona, Stella Artois, Cusqueña, Budweiser, Báltica and Quilmes.
The information was confirmed by an essential fact that was published by the Commission for the Financial Market (CMF).
The validity of the agreement between all the firms involved will be five years and will become effective From November.
“It is expected that the sales associated with the distribution contract will represent a growth over 10% with respect to the current volume in Chile, ”Embonor said.
In the essential fact it was detailed that there will be no relevant investments within the framework of this agreement.
Andina, meanwhile, complemented that “together with Coca Cola Embonor SA it signed a distribution contract with Cervecería Chile SA, by virtue of which both companies will assume the sale, commercialization and distribution of the main brands of Cervecería Chile SA in certain regions of the country ”.
The signing of the contract, he added, is part of the growth and diversification strategy of the company’s product portfolio that began in 2018, through the entry into the marketing and distribution of alcoholic beverages.
