THE day after the meeting of April 14 as part of the strengthening of collaboration between the National Health Insurance and Social Guarantee Fund (CNAMGS) and the University Hospital Centers (CHU), the Minister of Health, Guy Patrick Obiang Ndong made an unexpected visit yesterday Saturday to some health facilities in Greater Libreville.
Accompanied by a delegation from the CNAMGS led by the Deputy Director General, Audrey Christine Chambrier Voua, it was a question for the latter of reassuring the health personnel of the structures visited on the government’s commitment to improve the CNAMGS relationship and the health facilities. . To this end, Guy Patrick Obiang Ndong informed “the health personnel of the reforms undertaken by the Government with the aim of improving the financial health of the CNAMGS, the immediate consequences of which will be the regular payment of social charges and especially the improvement of the technical platform”.
In this logic, the Minister of Health and Social Affairs took this opportunity to reassure the patients met in the various health facilities visited of the continuation of the care of CNAMGS policyholders. Similarly, he invited doctors to remain professional and faithful to the principles of fairness in the care of patients.
