The Texans have essentially become an expansion team. At least when they were an expansion team, fans wanted to see them play.

Jerome Solomon of the Houston Chronicle writes that in a matter of weeks, he went from 12,734 on the subscription waiting list to a subscription. Solomon passed.
“Hell would freeze over before I spent a dime on Texans tickets this year,” Solomon explains. But he doesn’t blame the current players, the squad, or Deshaun Watson’s legal issues for the situation.
“Incompetence begins at the top,” writes Solomon. “That’s why I couldn’t find a reason to justify spending on tickets. “
It’s amazing to think that less than 17 months ago the Texans held a 24-0 lead over the Chiefs in the playoffs. Everything has been downhill since then, the Texans may not have hit bottom.
In the first season of 17 regular season games, the Texans are currently favored to lose every game.
Yes, of course, Deshaun Watson and the 22 women who pursue him and his subsequent business demands have nothing to do with the dire prospects of the Texans.
The owner’s son is undoubtedly debatable, but I’m pretty sure the Texans incompetence at the top wasn’t the cause of ALL of the above.
The Texans have become the go-to case study for how not to run a professional sports team. What a trash fire.
He should jump on that offer and buy those tickets. Yes, the Texans are going to stink this year, but that will put them in contention for at least a top 5 in the draft next season. When they figure out who’s going to be the hot QB in college, everyone will want to jump on the gravy bandwagon. Better go now.
This team won the division and made the playoffs in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2018, & 2019. That being said, I think the team leaders and the new owner (2018) seem to have quite a bit good idea of what they are doing. They have been successful.
