Cloud System Engineer (m/w/d)

You develop the server infrastructure and the application operation of the Wibu-Systems full managed cloud solutions. You occupy the interface to the development and DevOps of the cloud solution and contribute your ideas and experiences. You are actively involved in the design of new processes and the introduction of monitoring tools. You will work on or lead implementation and migration projects. You carry out changes, such as rolling out new high-availability systems, maintenance work or modernization of the infrastructure. They monitor the availability of the systems and services and initiate appropriate measures in the event of an error. You support our customers and colleagues with demanding technical questions about our cloud solutions in 3rd level support.

You bring your knowledge with you from vocational training in the field of IT system integration; alternatively a degree in IT. You have already gained several years of professional experience in the field of DevOps, cloud services or data centers. You have good to very good knowledge of cloud services, containerization and Kubernetes. In addition, you are particularly familiar with virtualization, load balancing and network management. You feel at home with Linux (Ubuntu) and ideally have knowledge of LAMP systems. You know ITIL and are used to being guided by processes in your daily activities. You bring along an analytical approach and are really absorbed in solving problems. Reliability is important to you and you enjoy working in a team, including across teams. You communicate confidently in German and English.
