An ice hockey game consists of three thirds, but the SCB – ZSC from Saturday evening can easily be divided into two halves for once. First the rather short part with the dominant people from Zurich and then the one when only the Bernese play and, in contrast to the ZSC, prove efficiency in the end. In between an intermezzo: The ZSC Lions in self-destruction mode, they give presents to the SCB and especially Tristan Scherwey.
The SCB aggressive leader scores 1-0 and 2-0, both goals fall according to the same pattern: Scherwey intercepts Zurich’s build-up passes in the ZSC zone. First, Maxim Noreau fails, then Garrett Roe. These goals completely change the game. The SCB builds up a lot of self-confidence, dares to play more and more, more and more succeeds, it suddenly becomes a gala: The Bernese lead 4-0 after two thirds.
