The operational team of the National Electricity Corporation (Corpoelec), attached to the Maintenance Unit, cleared the vegetation that interfered with the power lines in the Las Minas industrial sector of the Los Salias municipality, Miranda state, to normalize the connection of the electrical network in the zone.
Progressively, the pruning of bamboos that were on the medium voltage lines was carried out and that affected the circulation of electricity on the electrical corridors belonging to the sectors Los Altos, Don Blas, Zona Industrial Las Minas, Club de Campo and Saint Elizabeth.
Corrective maintenance was also carried out to achieve 100 percent effectiveness of the electrical load that the circuit connected to the San Antonio Substation deserved.
It is appropriate to point out that the predominant natural factors in mountainous areas can unexpectedly interrupt energy processes, which implies the proper action of technical personnel, who have their own instruments, knowledge and skills to deal with these eventualities.
Corpoelec’s workforce, with its perseverance and technical talent, is attentive to provide timely attention to the requirements that merit the connections of the National Electric System.
