Classic Facebook Interface Design on Desktop will be stopped

jpnn.com – Facebook announced a classic version of its interface design on desktop, with the iconic blue navigation bar going away forever, starting September.

The Verge, on its updated support page, said that all users will have a new design soon.

Current users can still switch back to the old interface on the Facebook site, the button warns that “classic Facebook will no longer be available from September.”

The new design was announced at last year’s Facebook developer conference, and initially rolled out to iOS and Android service apps.

In March, the new design expanded to the desktop as an optional feature, leaving users free to continue using the old design if they wish.

However, in September, the old designs will be lost forever.

The new interface is a huge change from what Facebook has been using, for most of its existence.

Facebook’s new look is much cleaner with lots of white space, but there’s also a dark mode for the new look.
