Panji Gumilang has finished undergoing a clarification examination regarding the report on alleged religious blasphemy by the leadership Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School That. Panji Gumilang has the status of a witness, and did not become a suspect until the end of the examination just before the middle of it.
“Ah, no. We haven’t gotten there yet,” Panji said after being questioned at Bareskrim, South Jakarta, Monday (3/7/2023) before midnight.
Panji answered reporters’ questions about whether he was ready to become a suspect in blasphemy. According to Panji, the examination of the alleged case has not been completed.

“Don’t say that you’re not ready (to be a suspect). The business isn’t over yet,” said Panji.
After answering journalists’ questions, Panji supporters applauded. Panji made his way through the crowd of journalists and got into the car, leaving the Police Headquarters building.
At Bareskrim itself, there are two police reports (LP) against Panji Gumilang. The first report was filed by the Pancasila Defender Advocate Forum (FAPP). The DPP FAPP report is registered with the number: LP/B/163/VI/2023/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI.
Then the second report was made by NII Crisis Center Founder Ken Setiawan. Report registered with number LP/B/169/VI/2023/SPKT/BAREKRIM POLRI dated 27 June 2023.
In the two reports, Panji was accused of violating Article 156 A of the Criminal Code on Blasphemy of Religion. The National Police said the two reports had been combined into one for investigation.
