He works bringing water and ice to shops, and said that after learning about the shipwreck, he fears that the tourist perspective of Puerto Nuevo will change.

“That has always been the desire of Puerto Nuevo that all the people who come here to Puerto Nuevo feel safe,” said Andrade.

The security secretariat confirmed to TELEMUNDO 20 that the beaches of Rosarito are usually used by criminals for the transit of people, as was recorded on March 25, when a boat with 16 people on board crashed in the tourist area of ​​Primo Wall.

“They are emigrating to more remote areas, more alone that it is easier to get ahead,” said Francisco Javier Arellano, secretary of public security in Playas de Rosarito.
