Local council approves budget 2021 / Investments in broadband, kindergartens, schools and streets are planned.
. The 2021 budget of the city of Bonndorf has been finalized. The local council unanimously approved the figures, which provide for investments of around 5.6 million euros, at its meeting on Monday evening. A minor change to the draft plan was decided by a majority in advance. The “Bread Path” project, for which a grant has already been approved, was taken up (see report below).
No debt in 2021 either
As already mentioned, the city wants to raise an investment volume of around 5.6 million euros. These expenses are financed primarily through grants and contributions amounting to 3.335 million euros. In addition, cash and cash equivalents of around 6.12 million euros are available. Borrowing will therefore not be necessary. This means the city remains debt-free for the seventh year in a row. And also in the next three years, the town marketer assumes that no loan will be needed.
