Christmas public lecture at Ansbach University – fränkischer.de

Ansbach, December 12, 2022 – After a break due to Corona, the annual Christmas conference entitled “From self-sufficient companies to smart electricity grids – Blockchain technology” will take place again on December 13th.

Digitization is constantly progressing in all areas of life. Trade relationships, intellectual property and adaptive energy networks have one thing in common: they are sensitive to how data can be securely and reliably exchanged, stored and managed. Blockchain technology, often known only as a cryptocurrency tool, offers a powerful answer to these critical digitization problems.

Audiences can enjoy the popular science lesson in a Christmas atmosphere and learn the ins and outs of a much-mentioned but little-understood technology.

Background of the speakers:

Prof. Dr. Torsten Schmidt is the head of the “Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Systems” graduate program. He mainly works on algorithms for time series forecasting and computer simulation.
prof. dr. Sigurd Schacht he is responsible for the master’s program “Applied Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation”. He researches natural language processing methods, a field of applied AI, and is a subject matter expert in the blockchain field.
