The music of ‘Christmas Dreams’ will liven up Christmas at Don Benito starting December 22. It is a musical, produced by the Rodetacón Teatro company, which will be performed for several days at the Teatro Imperial de Don Benito. Under the direction of Eva Manjón, the music of Juanjo Molina and the choreography of Cuca Pons, this musical event also has a unique set design and realistic images that will make characters like Peter Pan, Aladdin, Belle, Cinderella and many more come to life in this scenario.
The common thread of the story will be the adventures of a girl, named Sofi, who has lost her enthusiasm for Christmas after the death of her grandfather. “It is a work that is a piece of candy and I think it is the best Christmas musical of the season by far,” says Fabio, one of the actors in this musical, “it is going to be like a dream and it is a pleasure for us to be in Don Benito this Christmas.
There will be no shortage of elves who will help the little girl regain her enthusiasm in a musical that is the 14th production by Juan Carlos Parejo for this company from Extremadura, “whenever I could, I have wanted to premiere in my town and in a theater that always excites me.” ».
Unique scenery
Parejo explains that it is a “high quality show with great actors who are very complete, people who love musical theater, after doing a very important and very hard casting.” Likewise, the unique scenography that will use various LED technology screens stands out. It will be performed from December 22 to January 4 at the Imperial Theater, with showings every day at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays the 23rd and 30th there will be a performance at the same time in the afternoon, but also in the morning, at 12:30 p.m.
Tickets are now on sale for a price between 10 and 12 euros. Parejo considers that these are “very popular prices so that no child is left without their ticket.”
