Christiaan Bauer wins special edition of LEGO Masters

Christiaan Bauer, the son of Frans and Mariska, has won the special edition of LEGO Masters Vips. Together with his teammate Emma Deckers, he won the match on Saturday evening.

The duo defeated other famous Dutch people such as TV maker Nicolette Kluijver, YouTuber Kaj Gorgels, writer Heleen van Royen and singer Kaj van der Voort.

“YESSSSSS WE DID IT !!”, Bauer Junior writes in capital letters on his Instagram page. “We just won the #legomasterskerstspecial. Emma Deckers, you were a great teammate! What was this great to do with a wonderful goal.”

Emma Deckers is the daughter of TV presenter, actress and writer Daphne Deckers. The duo did not know each other and made an appointment especially for the recordings to get to know each other.

Dream room
All duos had to make a dream room for Hotel Heppie. No accidental assignment, because money was collected for Stichting Het Vergeten Kind, which is a second one Hotel Heppie wants to build for children in the Veluwe. There, children who are in an unpleasant situation at home can take a break.

Brickmaster Jonathan Bennink thought Bauer and Deckers’ creation was the best. In addition, a group of children could also vote in the studio. More than half of all children’s voices went to the creation of Christiaan and Emma. Their Cockaigne was praised for its creativity and clearly won LEGO Masters VIPS.

When building the dream room, all couples were allowed to request the help of Jan and Lola for a short time. This duo from Boxtel won the first edition of LEGO Masters earlier this year. The title will therefore remain in Brabant for a while. This also to the delight of the previous winners of the popular program.

Build more often
The recordings for the program lasted three days. Christiaan left previously to Omroep Brabant know he’s got the hang of it now.

“I think we will be buying more LEGO structures in the near future. I used to build mainly with dad, but now when I open a box of LEGO, everyone gets seated around it. ”

We spoke to Christiaan Bauer earlier this month. Watch the video below:
