Chinese people who demanded “Xi Jinping not wise” resign

China’s President Xi Jinping demanded the resignation. The arrested activist revealed that he had been subjected to harsh acts by the authorities.

According to Kyodo News Agency on the 22nd, Ding Jashi, an activist who was a human rights lawyer accused of’overthrowing the state’s power’, and Xu Ziung, a democratic activist, said, “During the investigation, I had limited sleeping hours and received’torture’ that gave me only a small amount of water and meals.” And appealed.

– The two first interviewed a lawyer online on the 21st. Kyodo News Agency reported that neither admitted to the charges of overthrowing state power.

The Hong Kong South China Morning Post (SCMP) quoted a source on the 21st, citing sources that the Chinese courts were arrested for attending a Shaman “anti-government” rally more than a year ago, instead of “incitement to overthrow”, which was initially charged with “state power”. He reported that he would apply the charge of overthrowing and put him to trial.

Compared to the charges of incitement to overthrow, the sentence for overthrowing state power is heavier.

Xu Ziyung and Dingjiashi were wanted for participating in an anti-government rally held in Xiamen City, Fujian Province in 2019, and were arrested last year. In particular, in February of last year, while he was wanted, he released a “resignation letter” demanding the resignation of President Xi, which caused excommunication.

In a textbook posted on the’Citizens’ Freedom Movement’ website, he said, “Si Jinping, you are not a bad person, but I don’t think you are wise enough to become a national leader. This time, step back,” he said.

Xu criticizes Xi for giving up democracy, the rule of law and human rights, strengthening dictatorship, persecuting Uighurs and other minorities, and repressing the media.
