Chinese Communist Leader Praises Kazakh President for Resolute Action on Riot Protesters

BEIJING – President who is also the leader of the Communist Party China , Xi Jinping, praised the President Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev who took firm action against the rioting demonstrators.

Xi Jinping also criticized external powers for deliberately creating unrest in Kazakhstan and carrying out a “color revolution”.

Xi made the remarks Friday, January 7, 2022, in a message addressed to President Tokayev.

He expressed sincere condolences over the recent large-scale riots in Kazakhstan, which have resulted in numerous casualties and property loss.

According to him, the President of Kazakhstan’s decisive actions at a critical time can quickly calm the situation.

“This reflects his responsibility and commitment as a statesman and his very responsible attitude towards the country and the people,” Xi said, as quoted by Reuters. CTGN, Saturday (8/1/2022).

Xi stressed that China opposes any power that jeopardizes the stability of Kazakhstan, threatens its security, or destroys the peaceful life of its people.

“China firmly opposes any attempt to damage China-Kazakhstan friendship and disrupt cooperation between the two countries,” Xi said.
