“The CCP has done well in leading this great country to prosperity,” he said.

It is a recognized reality that many African countries are still underdeveloped despite their strenuous efforts, which underlines the importance of China-Africa cooperation in poverty reduction, adds the head of the NPP.

“Under the leadership of the CCP, China is doing it (reducing poverty) at a faster pace, and for this reason, we must partner with China and make Africa the new frontier now,” said -he.

Freddie Blay hails China as a country that “shares what it has accomplished”, adding that it “knows how to share, how to help each other, how to develop together and we need that kind” of cooperation.

More specifically, he continues, further bilateral cooperation in human resource development would be conducive to accelerating the pace of poverty reduction in Ghana.

The NPP president expresses his satisfaction at the growing number of young Ghanaians studying in China, saying he expects them to break the language barrier and learn more from China to help develop their own country.

Noting that this year marked the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, Blay said he wished China more success and prosperity under the leadership of the CPC, looking forward to a greater partnership between Beijing and Accra. . End
