The Korean media all reported on the serious fine dust caused by the yellow dust, and China was angry about it.
The term ‘yellow dust from China’ is incorrect.
China’s state-run Global Times reported that “the two strongest dust storms of the year occurred in Mongolia, more than 600 kilometers from Beijing.”
China is also a victim of the ‘Mongolian’ yellow dust.
On the 13th, the state-run Global Times also criticized that exaggerated articles should be avoided, saying, “Some Korean media even used inflammatory expressions such as ‘disaster’.”
However, Chinese media only mentioned two yellow dusts that started in Mongolia this year, and did not mention anything about yellow dusts originating from Xinjiang in western China and Inner Mongolia in the north.
A total of nine yellow dust occurred in China this year.
The China Meteorological Observatory also said that some of the recent dust storms originated in northwestern China.
