In Drunen, Brabant, a 10-year-old boy died in a collision with a motorcyclist. The accident happened around 7:30 PM. The child died on the spot.
The boy is said to have driven on the road on a small dirt bike. He probably hit the motorcyclist who had fallen, the police said.
Both were seriously injured in the collision. They were resuscitated, but help was too late for the boy. The motorcycle driver was taken to hospital seriously injured. The emergency services were massively deployed, including four ambulances and two trauma helicopters came to the scene, writes Broadcasting Brabant.
It is still unclear how the accident could have happened. The police conduct technical investigations into the circumstances and talk to witnesses.
