Chickenpox Spreads in England, Calamine Lotion is Rare

Parents in the UK have difficulty getting calamine lotion that relieves chickenpox itching.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — A Twitter user advised parents to buy lotion scale wherever they could find it. They suspect there will be an epidemic chicken pox massively in the future, although no one has officially announced it yet.

DHSC ensures that there are a variety of alternative products available should the community need them. People need to talk to a pharmacist or ask for a prescription from a doctor.

“We have well-established procedures for dealing with drug shortages and production stoppages, and are working with multiple stakeholders, to ensure that risks to patients are minimized when they arise,” he said.
