The Chicago Department of Public Health announces new efforts on Friday to further expand and distribute the coronavirus vaccine ahead of the full reopening scheduled for June 11.
One of the plans includes going door-to-door with residents to encourage them to get vaccinated especially in 13 neighborhoods who currently have a drop in the vaccination rate.

Mayor Lightfoot confirmed that Chicago will fully reopen on June 11 under Phase 5 that removes all capacity limits in all sectors of the economy.
