Chevrolet Tahoe turned into a police interceptor – Motor

The police interceptor, aka Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV), received a modified suspension, new shock absorbers and Brembo brakes with 406 mm discs. Such an SUV differs from the standard model in reduced ground clearance, due to which it is more stable during high-speed maneuvering. In addition, the police officer Tahoe received special Firestone Firehawk Pursuit tires, which allowed to significantly reduce the braking distance.
