“Chesnaught, the Newest Addition to Pokemon Scarlet and Purple’s Seven-Star Teraid Event!”

The next Pokemon to arrive with the new seven-star teraid in Pokemon Scarlet and Purple has already been announced. In this new temporary event, trainers will be able to capture Chesnaughta Grass/Fighting-type Pokémon introduced in the sixth generation of Pokémon, with the Pokémon X and Y games.

Chesnaught is the final evolution of Quilladin. Its appearance is a mix between a giant hedgehog and an armadillo. This starter pokemon Kalos is not found “naturally” in Paldea, and will only be available (thanks, Serebii) to be captured during two weekends, more specifically from May 12 to 15 and May 19 to 22.

Of course, it will also have a special Rock Teratype and various movements that have not yet been detailed. In previous games, Roll was the only Rock-type move that all of Chespin’s evolutions could learn naturally. This suggests that perhaps Chesnaught can learn moves like Avalanche or Rock Edge.

So far the only Kalos initial that had appeared in Scarlet and Purple was Greninja, a water-type Pokémon. This makes one think that Fennekinthe final evolution of Delphox, could be the next Pokémon to reach Paldea.
