Chermiti said goodbye to Sporting this Friday heading to Everton and he does not hide his affection for “Mr. Aurélio Pereira”, responsible for, at the age of 12, the striker leaving the Azores for Alcochete. “He called my father here and he immediately thought: ‘the kid did shit'”, he recalled in a video reviewed during the interview he gave to Sporting TV today.
And he explained: “[Aurélio Pereira] He called my father here and started showing him around the Academy. After that we had a meeting. I was an innocent bitch. My father asked me: ‘Do you want to come?’. And I was like, ‘Sure, I’ll go.’ We spoke to my mother and she wrinkled her nose a little, I came alone, but we managed to convince her”.
