Chelsea and Porto will go to Spain for the Champions League

Chelsea and Porto will play both games of their Champions League quarter-final tie in Spain due to border restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic.

UEFA announced on Tuesday that the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium in Seville will host the matches on April 7 and 13. It is the fiefdom of Sevilla and which hosted Champions League matches prior to the competition.

Porto will technically be the home team in the first leg. UEFA has warned that the away goal rule will apply even when matches are played on neutral courts.

Due to travel restrictions between England and Portugal, Arsenal and Benfica previously had to play in Rome and Athens when they met in the Europa League.
