To get a more pronounced color, the eggs are boiled on a very low heat for about 4 minutes and left for a few more hours in the cooking liquid, so that a more intense, more pronounced color sets in.

Vinegar or oil helps for a more beautiful result

Of course, it is important to boil not only the strongest, but also the most beautiful eggs. There are countless ways of coloring – onion skins, red cabbage, food coloring and many more, but some universal suggestions can also be useful for brightening them up. You can get a brighter shade of eggs by adding a little vinegar while cooking, but remember that such eggs are unlikely to win egg battles, as vinegar makes the eggshell more fragile. On the other hand, to make the egg more shiny and highlight the beautifully colored patterns, after cooking and drying it can be smeared with a little oil, this will not affect the strength of the egg shell in any way.
