The prison is a nice place, says Andre Tokev.
Martin Karbowski made the first interview with the chef on YouTube – behind bars at the Kazichene prison dormitory. The journalist was quite surprised, because for the first time he came across a man who thinks he deserves the punishment.
Chef Tokev claims that he likes it because he has time to train and read. “Here in prison, you realize a lot of things differently,” added the chef.
We remind you that Andre Tokev was behind bars after he was once again caught drunk driving by the police.
Tokev insists the reason for his crack on the Ring Road is the stress he has been living through in recent years. “I was very burnt out and now I can think better about the past, the present and the future,” he explained.
Among the other prisoners in Cossacks are people who were guests of the boss in his restaurant.
Viewers of the first part of the interview, with which Karbowski returns to YouTube, admitted that Tokev deserves admiration for his decision to go to prison and repent.
“A cool man with human vices and I hope he really learns a lesson about driving,” writes a viewer.
“There is nothing more human, truly human, than admitting your mistake and taking responsibility,” said another.
