We’ve already talked here upon “Blush”, first production of Apple TV+ in partnership with the studio Skydance Animation (Leaded by ex-Pixar John Lasseter). Because today, Apple released the first trailer of the short film.
Directed by Emmy Winner Joe Mateo (which worked as storyboarder at Disney for decades and collaborated on films like “Big hero operation” e “The future family”), “Blush” tells the story of the journey of a horticulturist-astronaut who, after an accident, accidentally lands on a completely uninhabited dwarf planet.
Upon receiving a visit from an ethereal and mysterious creature, the traveler discovers the joy of building a new life — and “realizes that the universe has given him a wonderful salvation.”
The film, inspired by a real love story and described as a “deeply personal journey of healing, hope and the undeniably human moments of rescue through love,” will be produced by Heather Schmidt Feng Yanu (from the “Cars” trilogy). Lasseter will be executive producer.
“Blush” will arrive on Apple TV+ this Friday, day October 1st. Sounds adorable, doesn’t it?
