Check out the third Christmas celebration in Saudi Arabia in the era of Prince MbS

Christmas celebrations enter their third year Saudi Arabian as permitted by the government of Saudi Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS extension).

Prince MbS assured that Christians in Saudi Arabia would no longer need to secretly celebrate Christmas in their homes from 2020.

Residents who celebrate Christmas also rejoiced at the Saudi crown prince’s policy. Since then, Christmas celebrations in Saudi Arabia have been openly celebrated with all the paraphernalia in shops and public spaces from Jeddah to Riyadh.

Just like last year, a number of vendors in Jeddah have decorated their shops with Christmas decorations and knick-knacks to welcome the Christian holiday.

One store, Homegrown, will even host a Christmas-themed event. One of the residents, Hatoon, said he was pleased with the lively Christmas celebrations ahead in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

“It reminds me of snow and London. I eat gingerbread with a cappuccino and my friends drink hot cocoa with s’mores (roasted marshmallows),” Hatoon said as quoted by The national team.

“Winter collection all velvet and Christmas. It reminds me of Christmas in England”, he said again.
